Rosters
Find cycle rosters, add or remove members, clone from another cycle, export CSV, and use the read-only Sections reference.
Find and open a cycle roster
- Open Rosters from the admin sidebar.
- Choose a Season filter when you need a season other than the default.
- Open a cycle name to reach that cycle's roster page.
- From the cycle roster, use the Roster tab when you arrived from another cycle detail page.
The roster index also offers Export CSV in the header actions menu when you need a season-wide summary.
Add or remove players on a roster
- Open a cycle roster from Rosters or the cycle Roster tab.
- In Add player, search by name, email, section, or membership status.
- Select a member to add them to the roster grouped by section.
- To remove someone, open row actions on their name and choose Remove.
- Confirm Remove in the dialog.
Empty sections are hidden. Members without a primary section appear under Unassigned.
Clone players from another cycle
| Mode | When to use |
|---|---|
| Merge | Add players from the source who are not already on this roster — existing players stay |
| Replace | Remove everyone on this roster, then copy the full source roster |
- On a cycle roster, open Open roster section actions.
- Choose Clone from cycle.
- Select a Source cycle from the same season.
- Choose Merge or Replace.
- Confirm Merge roster or Replace roster.
Clear roster is available in the same menu when the cycle has no attendance recorded yet.

Choose Merge or Replace when cloning from another cycle.
Export roster CSV
- On a cycle roster, open Open roster section actions.
- Choose Export CSV to download the current cycle roster.
- To export the season index instead, open Rosters, apply any Season filters, then open the header actions menu (⋯) and choose Export CSV.
Use the Sections reference (read-only)
- Open Sections from the admin sidebar.
- Review the orchestra section list — counts show active members with that section as primary or secondary.
- Open a section name or count to filter Players by that section.
Sections are seeded reference data. You cannot edit section names here — use Players to change a member's section assignment.
Common questions
What is a concert cycle?
A concert cycle is one program in the season — for example Fall Opener or Holiday Pops. Each cycle owns its roster, events, Concert signups, attendance, and dues. Members answer Concert signups before you finalize the roster; see Admin concert signups.
